The open face and toe contact point suit players who shoot off the toe and rely heavily on deceptive release points - exactly the skill set that makes Zegras dangerous in tight spaces.
Creative offensive forwards who shoot off the toe and prioritise quick, deceptive releases. Well-suited to players who like to shoot in stride and rely on an open face to elevate the puck quickly. Not ideal for backhand-heavy play.
