All codes above refer to the same curve family — just named differently by each manufacturer.
The P19 is a mid-toe curve associated with playmaking centres, particularly Joe Thornton. It sits in the same family as the P92 but with a contact point slightly more toward the centre of the blade — giving it excellent puck reception and passing accuracy. For a player like Thornton who distributes as much as he shoots, this balance between the mid and mid-toe families is ideal.
Playmaking centres and creative forwards who pass as often as they shoot. The mid-toe contact point and moderate openness make it good for saucer passes, tape-to-tape feeds, and shooting in stride. A well-rounded curve for high-IQ offensive players.
